If you enjoyed The Tiger King documentary, then you may enjoy Chimp Crazy. It's made by the same people and it is a 4 episode run with each episode being about an hour. The wife and I binged the first two episodes last night and it brought about a good 30 minutes of discussion between the two of us. I enjoyed the first 2 episodes. I know Max is bad news, but I bought a year of it when I had my wisdom teeth out and was home for a month. You know, Sopranos, The Wire, Rome etc. Got me through a sucky time. It was good. My grandfather had a chimp in Iwo Jima. He was an aircraft mechanic in the AAF. He said they just kind of found it one day, and his mechanic crew started taking care of it, giving it food, etc. Became the crew’s dog more or less. He wanted to bring it back home but the AAF wouldn’t let him. When he was alive, any time a chimp would come on, tv show, movie, or commercial, he’d start laughing and state how he missed his chimp. That lady is a proper nut job. The awful makeup, getting Botox or whatever done on her lips constantly. Feeding the chimp the same shit food she eats, happy meals and such. Never would have known how wacko of a world these people live in without the series. What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone | |||
