No Vir? Understand that the actor has passed, but they are having other people doing voices for deceased cast members, so there is no reason Vir couldn’t also be in the show. How about Bester? Walter Koenig is still around. And there needs to be a Kosh.

To be honest, I could do without Lochley. Didn’t really care for the character, or for Season 5 since the main story arc was wrapped in in Season 4, and 5 was mostly wrapping up some secondary arcs that got pushed out from Season 4.

Since we don't know the exact plot, saying someone needs to there is a tad premature.

I am really looking forward to it. I need to re-watch the seasons again.

I checked my collection, and strangely I do not have Babylon 5. So I ordered it Smile

I LOVE Zathras.

"Zathras is used to being beast of burden to other peoples needs...very sad life...probably have very sad death...but, at least there is symmetry!"

"Very damaged; Zathras can never have anything nice."

"Can not run out of time. There is infinite time. You are finite. Zathras is finite. This...is wrong tool... No... No, not good. No... Never use that."

I don't see how they can have Molari without Vir, either. Guess I will have to wait and see.

I'm in. Fingers crossed that it is even fractionally as good as the OG...it will still blow the doors off most of whatever is competing with it.

Maybe my favorite scene from the series was when Vir finally picks up the sword and threatens his former bully. Molari seeing this smiles and says "Now he is ready to lead our people".

My favorite Vir scene is when Morden is asking everyone what they want, and Vir tells him that he wants to live long enough to see his head on a pike as a warning to others and be able to wave at it.

And you know what? Vir did get his wish.

To be honest, this isn’t getting me excited for it. Sheridan looks wrong, as do some of the other characters. The G’Kar voice sounds bad. Also, not a fan of time travel stories. Finally, not enough (no) Kosh.

It's all in the inflections. Big Grin

Zathras was probably my favorite character in the series. I'm a little skeptical that an animated version will hold up, but I'll definitely be giving it a shot.

4K Trailer:

I'm not going to care about spoilers for a show that's over 30 years old, but it looks like the main time line Sheridan gets shunted to is the one hinted at with Sinclair in Season 1 and realized in "War Without End Part 1" where the crew didn't go back and take Babylon 4 back to the previous Shadow War and as a result come back much stronger, leading to the distress call Garibaldi watches.

It also makes me wonder if we'll get to see the rest of Sheridan in the future saving Centauri Prime like he promised Emperor Mollari. And as usual, I love that this isn't just a random story as with most of Babylon 5 has there's reinforcement from the series for these actions.

Not sure if serious, but that episode aired about 25 years ago. . . So, I think we are safely past the 'spoiler warning' stage.

I have been rewatching B5 on Roku in HD and must say its a lot better than when it was released in the 90s. It is really good on my Sony 4k with Dolby vision.

Couple of updates. Movie comes out today and while it'll be delivered tonight, I'm not sure when I'll get to see it. Here's another clip that was posted:

Also, the half assed "remastered" Babylon 5 that's been available streaming the last couple of years hits Blu Ray in December:

https://www.amazon.com/Babylon...+%2Caps%2C126&sr=8-9

Special features are unknown, and not sure if the previous DVD features will be moved over.
