I saw it yesterday. Unfortunately there were yutes and shenanigans going on that were a distraction.

It wasn't a terrible movie, but it also wasn't great. To be honest, the linked trailer is the movie. Just add in another hour and forty minutes of fluff if you're in the theatre.

Wait until it is streaming, you'll thank me later.

For it to be described as a comedy/family film seems to miss the mark. It was a dialog between a man and a dog for the majority of the film. Comedy might have been two scenes. Family, I guess a funeral is a family event?

To use an old scale, I might give it 2 pops out of 5. The storyline had possibilities that weren't well developed.

Reminds me a bit of "K9" with Jim Belushi.

What ffips said. Wife and I watched it last night. No much effort was put into the story. You never really connect with the characters. The dog does the best acting in the film.

Watch the trailer you’ve seen the movie. The scenes at the pot farm are the high point of movie.

The Army Captain annoyed the shit out of me. Way to not be there for your guys. “Well they aren’t down on paper”. Fuck you.

We saw yesterday, it was darker than the previews suggested. Mrs. Sigmund really enjoyed it, I gave it a 3 out of 5.

Was discussing this movie with some colleagues (veterinarians) and we all fear that we will soon be inundated with soccer moms and millennials who've watched this movie and decided that Mals are basically misunderstood Labradors and thus the perfect breed they want for their family.
