rat2306Gene was crucial to the success of the two films. IIRC, Gene wrote much of the script for "Young Frankenstein". And saved Mel when in a crunch for "Blazing Saddles"..Mel's cast lead actor bailed out on him. Looked that up on the Wiki, and I was right.

ptruckI called the movie theater and asked if they would be showing the original version, or the politically correct one. The manager didn't know but thought it'll be the original.
