Using Spotify's "Radio" feature as well as a few "mix" (they're not really mixes, as much as collections) stations on YouTube, I've stumbled into an interesting genre.

Chill Synthwave or Chillwave.

I know lots of you guys are into classic rock and some incredible stuff; but, there's a small contingency of us that hail from a bit later in the 20th century, and I just get weak-kneed over a meaty synth. Enjoy. (Or not, but hopefully my thread titles are clear enough.)

I discovered this music about a year ago thru my kid. It is really good stuff. I usually put it on and zone out.

I'm also into none main stream music. A lot of the music I listen to falls into the electronic category. Why are they considered electronic and how are songs distilled down into even deeper genres? I don't know, but I know I like the songs. A lot of them have haunting vocals as well and I like that.
