I watched this the other day and still enjoy it,every time I see it. The camaraderie with Redford and Newman was perfect and they just complimented each other. I have to say that the second movie- BC and the SK: The Early Days with William Katt and Tom Berenger, was not too bad either. Katt did a great job as a younger Redford/Kid. Of course, not as good as the original but not a bad movie. It is also fun to watch the gun play and the types in the movie(s). The more I watch Westerns the more I want more lever guns.

Just hard to believe that Newman and Redford only made two movies together. But then both are classics that can be watched over and over. My Native American Name: "Runs with Scissors"

1969 I was 14 years old. I remember it being a huge deal that Butch and Sundance hollered "Oooohhhh shiiit! when they jumped off the cliff into the river below. They actually swore in a movie! "Fixed fortifications are monuments to mans stupidity" - George S. Patton

I'm sure there are thousands of examples of profanity in movies before Butch and Sundance. But I wasn't 14 in 1940 and Gone With The Wind didn't capture the imagination of a 14 year old boy like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid did. “- The Sundance Kid: Well, I think I'll get saddled up and go looking for a woman. - Butch Cassidy: Good hunting. - The Sundance Kid: Shouldn't take more than a couple of days. I'm not picky.
