In his two movies I saw, he played a pilot in both: "Always" and "Flight of the Intruder."

Brad Johnson, best known for starring in Steven Spielberg's romantic drama Always and for his turn on the Fox series Melrose Place, died Feb. 18 in Fort Worth, Tex. He was 62. A representative for Johnson confirmed the news to EW.

No cause of death was reported.

Born in 1959 in Tucson, Ariz., Johnson began his career on the professional rodeo circuit in 1984, where he was discovered by a casting director looking for cowboys to star in a beer commercial. This led to his stint as the Marlboro Man and modeling gigs for Calvin Klein before he started acting. His first role was in a 1986 episode of CBS' soap opera Dallas...

A different article said cause of death was covid. This article did not say why the news was withheld since February.

I read about his death a good while back and thought for sure it was discussed on the forum (though I can't find it with the search feature). Strange to see new stories popping up now.

I always liked him and think he was an undervalued/under appreciated actor

He must have had to much bark on him and wasn't liked in realm of weirdos.

I read that he restored old Winchester Model 1886 rifles before turning to selling ranch real estate in North Texas

I think a few of the rifles he restored were used in movies. I am not sure if he got to use them or other actors.

In one of the lever gun forums (which is the first time I have visited that site, and I hope it is legit)

""Brad Johnson has played in several westerns, including a couple with Tom Selleck. He's also restored a couple of classic hunting rifles for Selleck and himself""

Because the cause of death is now being reported as COVID, so, agenda, narrative and nothing of substance.

Shameful. Leave the guy alone, already.
