It doesn't entirely fit the premise of the thread, but some time ago I had this idea of
DOWNFALL
The Diversity Remake
starring
Morgan Freeman
as Adolf Hitler
Michelle Yeoh
as Eva Braun
Benicio del Toro
as Josef Goebbels
Peter Dinklage
as Generalfeldmarschall Wilhelm Keitel
Warwick Davis
as Generaloberst Alfred Jodl
Elliot Page
as General Wilhelm Burgdorf
with
Caitlyn Jenner
as Gerda Christian
and
Lizzo
as Traudl Junge
And the horrible thing of course is that they would be totally great and absolutely kill it even if they were just doing the Hitler rant scene ...

You are a man of culture. Surprised she's just on your list. She was so f'n hot in Keen Eddie when she was just 22 or 23.

I thought the female actors list was more difficult to compile than the males—-by quite a bit.
The thread title says “leading actors,” but I’m just going to list 5 men I like seeing in a movie or series.
Benicio Del Toro, as I noted in a recent thread; Brendan Gleeson, always good; Ben Foster, nuff said; Gil Birmingham, again, always good; Chris Pine, I just like him; Honorable mention, Jon Bernthal.
The women.
Michelle Pfieffer, a long-time favorite; Uma Thurman, her too; Emily Blunt, she seems to crush every role; Charlize Theron, ^^^ Cameron Diaz, I just enjoy seeing her in a movie, crush on her too.
