>> How much is 247sports and does your Paramount+ have the commercials. <<

The site I sub to is $11/month or $100/year. It's a UCLA college sports recruiting site. A short time after CBS Sports bought out the 247 network, they added the P+ subs free for paid subscribers. I use the same log-in for both.

These sports sites also have free subs as well, but they don't get the P+ bonus.

I see ads only at halftime of soccer matches. Just promos for other P+ programming.

I splurged for the premium one with no ads and Showtime.
It is advertised as Ad Free yet I have to watch an advertisement every time I start a show.
Also none of the shows seem to have the same volume level and when I switch between shows I have to jockey the volume.
Both those things kind of piss me off.
So far the boys are loving these old Nickelodeon shows and so am I.

Now, I am really PISSED!!!!
They only have 5 episodes of each season of some of these Nickelodeon shows.
What the hell is the point?

If anybody is paying attention, be sure to check out the latest Strange New Worlds episode (Those Old Scientists - a take on the acronym for the The Original Series era). It is a crossover episode between SNW and Lower Decks. It starts off in cartoon form, then transitions into real life once Boimler goes through a time portal and ends up with the SNW crew. I stated in an earlier Trek threat that I typically hate time travel episodes, but this one was OUTSTANDING. I haven't enjoyed a Trek episode like this in decades. They had a LOT of references for the TrekNerds (they reference the Bell Riots, Pike's hair, they flippy communicators, etc etc etc.). I am not a big Lower Decks fan, but this was just too good. . .

I can't answer about soccer, but we LOVE it. Mainly for Star Trek series.

Paramount is the only outlier that's limiting these higher quality formats to just a handful of platforms.

There's no reason why they couldn't support them on others (like every other service), they just choose not to.

This was shocking news to me, but you are correct.
I am surprised I didn't notice it but I mainly watch the shows in a series and expect more movies (sound).

I watch using the built-in app of my Samsung Smart TV but you are correct I don't see any advanced audio.

Pisses me off too, I don't really want to buy another add on device again like Amazon Fire ... just for one channel.

Otherwise I like the Paramount + programming but you are correct - there is no excuse for this. Mad
