As stated, would like to expand this playlist.
Obviously would like to keep it with the same/similar genre/style of music.

Currently the list is:

Old Man - Neil Young
Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald - Gordon Lightfoot
If You Could Read My Mind - Gordon Lightfoot
I Got a Name - Jim Croce
Time in a Bottle - Jim Croce
Operator - Jim Croce
I'll Have to Say I Love You in a Song - Jim Croce
Photographs & Memories - Jim Croce
Father & Son - Cat Stevens
Tiny Dancer - Elton John
Your Song - Elton John
Rocket Man - Elton John
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road - Elton John
Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton
Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton

This is where my signature goes.

That list is just begging for some Harry Chapin. Start off with: Taxi, Want to Learn a Love Song, WOLD, 30,000 Pounds of Bananas, and of course Cats in Cradle.

Good stuff.

I have known Elton John fans who never listened to Tumbleweed Connection, my favorite Elton album.

Seems you like singer/songwriters.

Harry Chapin was a good idea.
Also reminded me to to toss some billy joel in there for good measure.

@oddball - tried all 3 songs - honestly didn't care for any of them (but I do very much appreciate the suggestions!)

@mark - tried it - same reply as to oddball :P

I agree with above about Tumbleweed Connection... it's my favorite Elton record.

Other singer songwriters and/or rootsy rock, from the 70s to now... Uncle Tupelo/early Wilco, James Taylor, Ryan Adams, Little Feat, Linda Ronstadt, John Denver, Gram Parsons, Jackson Browne, Jason Isbell, Van Morrison, Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Lucinda Williams, Townes Van Zandt, Steve Earle, Leon Russell, JD Souther, Cat Stevens.

If you have Spotify I have a good playlist with a lot of this stuff in it. https://open.spotify.com/playl...utm_source=copy-link

Slightly to the side of the theme there but I’d throw in Zeppelin “Going to California”
