As a lover of all things David Gilmour and believing that he is a musical genius and one of (if not the) greatest guitarist ever, it pains me to say that I thought this was awful. At times it sounds like a not very good high school garage band practice session. For his (probably) last album, I was really hoping for something incredible. This wasn't that, by any stretch. I had to listen to Division Bell afterwards to get that noise out of my head. Personally, I didn't think we were going to get anything else from David given his age. I urge you to give it some more play time. For my part, I really like the new album and find myself with a couple of tracks stuck in my head. I really hope (but doubt) that he tours NA again. Save the whales. Redeem them for valuable prizes... | |||

Listened to it a couple three times on my Hi Res Streaming (Qobuz) and do enjoy it and the obvious Pink Floyd sound. | |||
