Looking for more like the following:

If you're wondering who the female bassist is she goes my Milkie Way and is in a band called Wargasm...personally not a fan of their stuff.

What do you got?

I listen to a synthwave station on Spotify every morning when I'm at work.

I'm a big fan of the1975. I don't know if I'd call it neo-80's but it is basically adult contemporary pop and borderline synthpop.

That's really the only band that I follow of that style of music but there's plenty of stuff from Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, The Weeknd, Lana del Ray, et al that fit the bill. I have a spotify playlist that I follow that has a good mix.

Also, I have a nice playlist of some more synthy rock music with Strand of Oaks, Phosphorescent, The War on Drugs, Spoon, Big Red Machine, etc. That might fit the bill.

You'd probably also dig Walk the Moon.

Neo '80s is a better way to describe this type of music in my mind. I think the technical term is synthwave but that encompasses a lot of different subgenres.

Here is another good one from The Midnight.

@YellowJacket...love the 1975. Front man is a bit out there though.

Like neo-noir is modern film that incorporates film noir styles and themes, but way past the film noir era of the '30s to the '50s, neo-'80s is music that embodies and homages '80s elements and "feels," but is made past the 1980s.

My favorite neo-'80s band broke up a while back: Selebrities! They weren't really synthwave, but they sure did a great job at sounding like the modern version of an '80s 4AD band.
