Never mind, it's here. It's on Prime Video, they have a Paramount channel.

I'm through three episodes of the second-half of the fourth season and I'm enjoying it. Yeah, far fetched of course, but entertaining.

I enjoyed 1883, but only watched the first episode of 1923. It didn't seem to have the same "catch" for me, but I'll probably give it another try.

She is in Lioness, also. Small part as some intelligence insider (not sure her role) in the meeting sending the team back to Iraq.

There's no way this wraps up in one more episode. There's definitely going to be at least one more season.

I feel like this last episode was just one more "Look how cool I am" episode from Taylor Sheridan.

I'm going to go fire up Sons of Anarchy just so I can watch him get run over again.

Taylor pulled a season 8 Game of Thrones. After all that time between seasons, the best he could do was waste countless hours of episodic story time and instead product place all his sellable shit (including himself). Such a disappointment.

Fortunately 1883 is a hell of a stand alone season; I may go give that a rewatch.

Just watched the last episode. I will say I think they wrapped it up as good as they could.

And as for the fate of the ranch, I really liked the outcome. They went with the outcome that I had been hoping for, for the last couple seasons.

I found 1923 much more entertaining than 1883. I suggest you give it another try.

Taylor Sheridan is the artist, and Yellowstone is his exposition.

If the artist is not commissioned, then there is no expectation of the viewers to be pleased.

Either we stand and explore and find meaning that reaches us as presented by the artists, or we move along.

There are many parts of Yellowstone that I can find fault, if that is my goal, or I can choose to connect with the "story" and the artist's representation and enjoy it for the sake of the peice.

I choose the latter, and I am not disappointed. (at this juncture of the journey)

YMMV

I'm with monkey. I enjoyed all of Yellowstone and I think it ended appropriately. I kind of saw it coming and was hoping that would be the outcome as it really was the only "good" ending. As it should be IMO.

I really enjoyed 1883 and I'm currently watching 1923. Enjoying it too.

I find the entire series and idea pretty epic and give credit to Sheridan for thinking the whole thing up. It's a journey and an adventure to me.

I applaud the use of Ashokan Farewell for the funeral. It is perhaps the most beautiful melody I’ve ever heard. I played it at my Dad’s funeral and I will have it played at my own.

That “you would think there were ten of me” story also appears in Hell or High Water.

Overall, I’m fine with the way it ended.

I think most of the anger is directed at Taylor Sheridan jerking himself off for a considerable amount of screen time over these last few episodes, when that time could have been way better spent on finishing up the story and tying up loose ends.

Prime has Paramount+. Paramount+ does not have Yellowstone.
