Great career and long life. Most will think of “Viper” but I single out his role as Captain Dallas, with an aside as “Strawberry” in Up In Smoke.

I liked him. I saw something about his age recently and was a bit surprised at how old he was.

93? Wow.

Viper yes, but I loved his demeanor as the father, Reverend Maclean, in A River Runs Through It.

Man had a great career. I remember him best as Dallas in Alien, also as Duke in M.A.S.H. But I also liked him in the numerous roles he played on westerns on TV- Bonanza, Wagon Train, and especially Gunsmoke. And his role as Evan Drake on Cheers was fun.

Oh no, I hate to hear this. He had some great roles over the years. I will always think of him as Dallas and Viper among many others. I know what I will be watching this weekend.

I couldn't find his cameo from Ted, but this is what I will best remember him by. Poor bastard got fiberglassed into the set, had vasoline and maggots covering his face, and they still chop the scene out until 2002ish. RIP Dallas.
