I think it’s been 15+ years since I’ve seen this movie. I remember enjoying it. I saw the lions at the Field Museum back in the summer of 2005.

A genuinely scary movie. You feel the victims' nakedness as the big cat drags you off.
This was a great movie. I haven't watched it in years.

I talked with a guy from Kenya that said this story was required reading in school and based on truth. It is a great movie.

^^ Some truth,some fiction see story from Field museum link. The film showed lions with manes, which was not accurate, and a number of other details. Great story though.

Lions rule!
Can't imagine getting your skin licked off by that giant sandpaper tongue. I saw a video on YouTube where a guy was getting groomed by a cheetah. He said it was like having a cactus lick you. And the lion is so much bigger and stronger.
