Seems that he made an album called big bad bones,
w/o the other two

He did, and it is good. It’s not really a ZZ Top album, though. Lots of different influences.

I haven’t heard the solo album yet; I imagine it’s out there on YT. Saw ZZ Top a couple of weeks ago. They’re just fun. They had a wall of Magnatone amps on each side of Frank Beard’s kit. Impressive, and LOUD.
