I've let life somewhat pass me by. I've had a relatively good life but I've ignored or not participated in many things. For example, music.

I've recently (past few years) discovered Linda Ronstadt, several jazz vocalists and musicians, Lynn Anderson, Dire Straits and others. Baroque. And a new found appreciation for classical.

The latest is Jim Croce. Not sure why I never cared for his music. But now I find it simply enjoyable.

Bad Bad LeRoy Brown was quite the earworm as a young teen. Found a copy on CD of Neil Diamond Gold. These singers/songwriters take on different relevance in my 6th decade. I also blame my Technics turntable that refuses to die. Music has entered back in my life as well. It's nice to buy and enjoy something that doesn't require a background check.

Sounds like you saved yourself a lot of money on albums and now can get up to speed for free on YouTube.
Tons of great stuff there.

He was a true gem and imagine if he was still alive.

Although a "hit", Operator is genius in it's melody and lyrics.
