Real Genius has been a favorite of mine for as long as I can remember. Top Gun, Heat, and Tombstone would be very different movies without Val Kilmer. Another piece of my childhood is gone.  I read this morning that in the funeral scene of Top Gun Maverick, posted above, the two young people on the far side of Ice Man's wife are his real life children in uncredited roles. It's a quick bit of screen time, but a nice gesture to them nonetheless. | |||
