Just watched ep. 1.

Must say i enjoyed the soundtrack A LOT.

Left wondering about the gun handling techniques displayed, quite similar to John Wick’s and a bit way ahead of its time, IMO.

Will not spoil it further for you gents. Very worthy of my afternoon.

Where did you watch it?

I see it is on Peacock "Plus" but not on Peacock.
Comcast booted the Peacock Plus a few months ago leaving only the reg channel (Plus is $6 month). Frown

Prime is very fussy that way. Sometimes it works, sometimes no. More often no.

About the actual show, Its barely tolerable.
I may be able to sit through two more episodes but if I get distracted and forget about them, I won't miss it.
The new shows are pure crap.I find it hard to even commit time to take a look at them, then I feel bad that I wasted my time.
I usually first check the date of the show. If its before 2019 I may take a look, if after I need a real good reason to even take a peek.

Well it’s kind of telling when the first thing someone says about a scripted tv show is that it has a good soundtrack. Lol. That’s like the lowest priority. Script, actors, story, hell even cinematography would come before that to me. The music on a tv show was good. So, it sucked.

Ep. 2:
Still style over substance. Great music. Things are shaping up. Gibson is just one dimensional in this so far.

Will have to wait for the final episode…..

Final ep. came and went without glory. If this didn’t sport a John Wick tag on it it wouldn’t have made any waves at all.

Gibson doesn’t shine even for a second. The whole story lacks on every aspect.

Leaves the door open for more. We still can’t figure how We’re nston of yesteryear becomes our current Winston.

Maybe wait and hope for better nexttime.

Well, Peacock had a deal for a year for $29 and I want to watch football so I reluctantly signed up.
In the interim I watched the first two episodes of The Continental and it was quite good.
Much less action than John Wick and more storyline.
Glad I signed up.
