Para-- I watched "Girl Hunters" last night, wherein Mickey Spillane played Mike Hammer and his co-stars were Shirley Eaton and Lloyd Nolan. Would you consider this Film Noir? Thanks! Tim "Dead Midgets Handled With No Questions Asked"

"The term Film Noir refers to a stylistic movement in films made from 1940 to 1959- if a film does not fall within this time range, its not film noir, no matter the style or subject matter of the film. End of story." from this thread https://sigforum.com/eve/forums...935/m/8700009944/p/1 Safety, Situational Awareness and proficiency. 1960's UK crime drama I'd say, btw Spillane was not much an actor (that's being kind). ****************************************************************************** Never shoot a large caliber man with a small caliber bullet . . .

I've not seen the entire film, just some of the parts that people laugh at over Spillane's acting. It's not film noir. It's pulp.
