When a franchise is more than backroom Hollywood deal-making and marketing. Came across this while floundering around YT. A SW fan-film, done to a pretty high standard, I'd say. Certainly IMHO this little bit of movie making is better than the tripe that Disney has churned out for the third trilogy. No void-floating Leia in this one:

Pretty good for a you tube movie and another reminder of what could have been, so sad.

Even the Star Wars Holiday Special is better than the Disney stuff.

Yeah, I’d have gladly paid for to see this fan film over the garbage that is episode 7-9. Especially 9.. they were just trying to fuck that up
