I live about 15 miles from JMU and all week I’ve had to hear that they “deserve” a bowl game even though they’re not THAT good and they’re currently ineligible. My App State boys silenced all that yapping tonight! AHAHAHAHA

Yea they should have lost earlier to my Aggies who are not good at all. NTL, they've played well enough to go to some bowl game.

They got beat at home by a 6-4 team on College Gameday. I live in the area and the JMU faithful wouldn’t shut up about it. They looked past ASU (bad move, it provided a ton of motivation) and were exposed for the frauds they are. They are not ready for the big time and even if they were, they knew the rules when they made the move to I-A. Funny thing, they’ve ALL gone silent now.

My students told me yesterday that JMU had finally been made bowl eligible because not enough teams were.

Now the rumor mill is that Liberty will play JMU in a bowl game. Maybe Liberty is the best team in Virginia this season, maybe not. Going 12-0 has been pretty cool.

Leemur, I tell my students that we need a community like Boone. Dang, if Boone didn't nearly burn the mountains down last season when ya'll had that incredible start to the season.

Lynchburg? 1/2 of them are still complaining about the monogram . Not that they were using the mountain (we owned) for anything. but man 1/2 the community hear hates us. I hope that changes as we a) continue to build our academic campus, and b) build our athletic programs.
Until then I will envy App State and the community it has Smile I do plan to be at the game in September.

Yep, they made it to a bowl, along with 81 other teams that made it to a bowl. Whoopee!

Should've stayed in the FCS. Idaho "moved up" too, and now they're back. Didn't work out so well.
