The Fall Guy. March 1, 2024. Dumb Fun I Can Get Behind...
Starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. Directed by David Leitch (1/2 Director of John Wick 1, Deadpool 2, and Bullet Train).

This looks fun, but I think the trailer is showing the whole plot of the movie.

By the title, I thought I'd be seeing Lee Majors and Heather Thomas again.

That looks like it could be fun Smile I like Ryan Gosling. And Emily Blunt?

It's supposedly based on that.

I doubt this will be one of those movies where Emily Blunt turns out the be the real villain.

The other cool thing about the Director is he started his career as a stunt man, so we'll probably get to see how a lot of the stunts are performed in the movie.

I just finished watching this and it was hilarious!

Add this to the list of movies that were one week and done on the premium screens. I’ll have to get this on disc when it comes out.

It was fun. And, I'll watch anything featuring Hannah Waddingham.

Not for everyone but, good fun.

Lots of subtle tie-in's from other movies, some more obvious along with solid, respectful call-backs from Fall Guy and Six Million Dollar Man. The original 2500 GMC Sierra does make an appearance unfortunately the newer GMC Sierra gets more screen time...and it doesn't look good.

Jody Banks, I mean Heather Thomas...yeeesh, a bit too many drugs and face-lifts? Eek

Pretty sure HOOPER was the inspiration for The Fall Guy TV show and the current movie. Awesome stunts before CGI. Love the smoke stack stunt.

Correct. The producer of The Fall Guy was Glen Larson, who was notorious for ripping off ideas from motion pictures in order to create TV shows. Sci-fi writer Harlan Ellison once referred to Larson as "Glen Larceny".
