I may have to watch it. I liked the TV rendition played by Richard Thomas.

Not feeling optimistic given their track record for remakes and Stephen King stories in general.
This will be a Netflixer for me.

I like the idea of having two movies to focus on each time in their lives; however, the bitter taste in my mouth left over from the television mini-series still resides. That fucking spider killed any praise I had for the rest of the story.

Agreed, though I loved Tim Curry as Pennywise.
