The Ukraine girls really knock me out, they leave the west behind. Has anyone been there? I’ve got lots of United miles, they’ll get me to FRA and then Lufthansa direct to KBP. This will be another military history trip, must see sites include Chernobyl and: http://www.comtourist.com/hist...vomaysk-icbm-museum/ http://aviamuseum.com.ua/en I may stay at the Aloft Hotel (to build up Marriott points) and use Solo East for guides: https://www.marriott.com/hotel...el/ieval-aloft-kiev/ https://www.tourkiev.com/ Has anyone visited Kiev?

Knock yourself out, not on my top-20 list of destinations. Big country so, not everyplace is fraught with issues with their northern neighbor. I leave for Spain next week so, happy travels.

Sounds exciting. Hope you are an experienced traveler. I would check with the State Department as to any travel advisories.

It's not you, it's me. |
I’m second generation Ukrainian. I’ve never been, but the friends of mine who’ve been there loved it. I hope to go one day.

Oh yeah. It appears the "issues" with Russia are further south and east. https://travel.state.gov/conte...travel-advisory.html

Wandering, but not lost...I think |
I went to Kiev a couple years ago on a work trip, so I didn’t have much time to sight-see. But I was overwhelmed by the architecture and enjoyed my 5 days there. I think you’ll enjoy it.

I went on a mission trip, so not the same destinations you might be interested in. Lots of history there including military history, but didn’t go to any museums. Lots of sidewalk cafes.... _________________________ “Remember, remember the fifth of November!"
