Knights of Cydonia...

There may even be a Conan the Barbarian reference in there somewhere too. Maybe even some Good the Band and the Ugly and High Plains Drifter. I laugh my ass off every time I watch this video.

Been nearly 20 years, but they put on a good live show too.
Saw them in Dallas back in '07

They really do. Did a family trip to Montreal around '99 or so and they just happened to be playing a small free, live show outside our hotel. No idea why, just for giggles I guess. I went out and watched them for a bit. They were really solid.

I'd never heard of them. I was a bit leery but I clicked on it anyway and boy, was I pleasantly surprised. That was really good.

I’ve never watched Firefly before. What scene was the reference?

Firefly is Cowboy style westerns in space with a twist (the .gov is a US/Chinese overgovernment). I don't know there are "specific" references other than, I guess, all of it (minus the falcon I guess).

I've slowly come around to Muse after this vid here:

So far I haven't found another song that sounds like Hysteria, but I haven't been looking hard, either.
