My wife and I watch it, it's not a terrible way to kill an hour. I like the lawyer but hate the modern day couple that book the jobs.

Was waiting for this thread to appear, wondering how this series would be received.

Can’t find a redeemable quality to it. The definition of lukewarm IMO.

We watch it, it's OK, not bad but not a best ever show.
The main character is a bit too serious for me, should have written him in with some flaws or quirks to be more interesting.
Story lines are fine.

I've tried to watch it three times , wanted to like it.
Reminds me too much of 1970's detective TV shows.

Had to look it up, thought you were talking about the old show with Adrian Paul in it.

I like it well enough, but I also could have done without his booking agents.

I've often thought living out of an airstream would be a cool way to retire, so that aspect may be part of the draw for me.

Lead actor is clean-cut former SpecOps type (never can figure out who, how, where) but he is forever getting the crap beaten out of him—must have lots of “hit points” stored up.

Lawyer chic girlfriend always getting him out of the legal scrapes with the local constabulary.

The two older “modern couple” shemales are only in the show for filling the “bow down and kiss ass” requirement so prevalent in today’s shows and commercials.

If this was off-network it might have a chance to be better. Too predictable, for a Reacher type he is caught with his pants down too many times.
Interesting concept but, as someone said, it's too '70s in delivery.

Watched first season. It was, as said above, not a best show of the season. It is a good way to waste an hour if you're interested in the detective genre. I would say it's probably comparable to something like Sherlock from the 20-teens.

The gf likes it a lot. But I think she's all about the looks of the protagonist. It's an ok way to spend tv time together, but I'm with the rest regarding the two moms. By the way, they have one less mom on the show the last couple episodes, so maybe they decided to back off just a little bit on the woke scale?

At least the guy shoots people once in a while, so it isn't quite as bad as Macgyver or Doctor Who in that regard.
