for those that like vintage Sci Fi,

Amazon is running Space:1999 ,

watched it as a kid,

re watched it maybe 6 yrs ago, or most of it, before whatever service I used then dropped it or something,

4 episodes in, just as odd, yet interesting, as I remembered it,
with the cheesy disco music intro,

So cheesy it was good. Almost.

Fun (or not) fact: the original concept for the Millenium Falcon was deemed too similar to 1999's shuttle Eagles, leading to the finalized version of an upgraded flying saucer.

Oh yeah, and the original Millennium Falcon design became Princess Leia's Rebel Blockade Runner (or Tantive IV as the nerds call it). As such, I still think the Blockade Runner and the Moonbase Alpha Eagles with their giant engines are way more badass looking than the Falcon. I've never liked that ship with its weird offside cockpit.

I watched the show when it originally aired and I've watched the series several times on YouTube.

I've done the same with the British tv series UFO.
