The album cover of “Exiles” (Max Richter) has a hypnotic appeal for me. I think it’s the eyes, even though they’re different colors. The lips are a mess too, but yeah, hypnotic. Julia Mahr is the artist. Here’s the album cover:

I find abstract portraits very intriguing! I have a book by a Florida painter named Alex Powers who does incredible portraits. I've definitely gotten inspiration from him.

Because everyone has different tastes. Personally that painting looks like a bad grade schooler artist painted it but it clearly appeals to you. Good news is AI will make artists obsolete soon anyway so we can program whatever art we prefer and have it instantaneously (sarcasm on).

Looking at that pic, it has the feel of a faded memory. Or me trying to remember a dream I just woke up from, with all the details very sketchy.

Okay, enough psychoanalysis of me today...
