What is the criteria for getting a star? Has it been different over the years? I assume (you know?) that publicity is a major factor, maybe popularity, but was curious if there is a serious criteria? Jim

You could have gone to the Walk of Fame website for the answer.

And a few tens of thousands of dollars. Bendable wasn't wrong when he said money. The point about the celebrity agreeing is important too as there are several well known celebrities that have not agreed to having their name on the walk. Maybe the most notably for Sigforum is Julia Roberts “Everybody wants a Sig in the sheets but a Glock on the streets.” -bionic218 04-02-2014
