Anyone know a way to convert the output of a bluetooth turntable to MP3 files - like over the air? Can you hook a laptop to the turntable via bluetooth and then use software to capture the signal ? Would that be as clean as connecting to the RCA outputs somehow or would the outputs be better signal than the bluetooth ? ------------------ SBrooks

In the past I've captured records to mp3 using an RCA to 3.5 microphone jack adapter. Can't remember what software I used, but I'm sure you can use any audio recording software.

I wouldn't want to make it a primary method of getting digital copies. You can't get beyond the introduction of noise on a fairly high level. Especially if there are already digital versions available now. I understand it isn't utilizing what copies you already have but the quality is not anywhere close to ripping CD's. I have a lot of LP's but wouldn't think of digitizing them. I have ripped over 800 cd's though. I personally would look for a deal online of a CD or a direct download if possible. YMMV PS I do love original LP's on a quality TT and Cartridge though.

Maybe check out a turntable made for that purpose? https://www.toptenreviews.com/...converter-turntables I had two such. I gave one away. I have only converted a few vinyl LPs to digital because they were unavailable on CD. Now that they have became available, I bought the CD versions. CDs are so inexpensive now, I would never consider LP to digital transfers for music that is already available on CD disc or MP3/FLAC files.
