Recorded by Alan Parsons. I always thought it was cool how Waters did the tick-tock sound on his bass.

It just proves once again that Pint Floyd and their genre is timeless.

He was involved with the band for some time. Explains why APP sounds a lot like PF.

The guy looks stoned in the first video, perhaps appropriate for that album Smile

I like this reaction video from a couple of hip hop guys.

Any time I hear I Wish You Were Here I am instantly transported back to a square in Bologna, Italy.
We were out walking and enjoying the city and came across a fella singing it and playing with an acoustic guitar. It was flat amazing wish I had a recording. While Pink Floyd’s original is great this dude was WAY better.
Went to Tom to him after he finished the song and he did not speak a lick of English.

Hip Hop is the most popular music genre in the US and the world, fwiw.

And every serious Hip Hop fan I've ever encountered are already familiar with Pink Floyd.

But those videos are amusing just the same.

For those Pink Floyd fans..There is a tribute band called Brit Floyd and they are FANTASTIC. They tour the whole U.S. every year and i highly recommend them. They play all different albums, each show is a bit different, (been to 5 so far) and they are very fan friendly. They really put on a good show.

Does it only go one way? Hip hop fans should appreciate Pink Floyd, but Pink Floyd fans shouldn't appreciate hip hop?
