That’s gettin’ to be a pretty complete list now, the addition of Melissa McCarthy pretty well put a period on it. A few mentioned are not deal breakers for me, many are. It’s been a long time since I’ve watched a Nicholas Cage movie, _______________________________________________________ despite them

Oh yeah, no doubt that politics is a major influencing force when it comes to who people like or don't like to watch. I'm certainly not immune to it. Some of the names already posted here are at the top of my black list too (is that term racist now?), for the same reason others have listed them. I guess I just didn't want to repeat them.

There’s two films that come to mind that I like, that he happens to be in. One is Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and the other is Rounders, and I like those films in spite of him, not because of him. There’s just something about his personality that makes my skin crawl. I had a girlfriend that made me sit through Being John Malkovitch. That should have been a sign how that relationship would turn out. ______________________________________________ Carthago delenda est

More that belong on my list, thank you! In general, I TRY (with limited success) not to let an actor's politics influence my opinion of their work. To the best of my ability, everyone on my list is there because they suck as actors, not because they're political morons. Tho admittedly, the two go hand-in-hand much of the time. Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Paris Hilton has been in maybe two or three actual movies. (They were stinkers, except for Zoolander, and that was a cameo.) Tons of TV and video, of course, but almost all of that was reality TV or just as eye candy. She can't really disqualify any movies, because she isn't in movies. But I get it, lots of people don't like her. Tom Cruise is one for me. I won't say I've never seen one of his movies, but I find it hard to watch him without thinking of Scientology, which is a weird cult. Plus, he usually takes one kind of role and turns in a canned performance, even though he has sometimes shown an ability to be a better actor than that. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.

Some others have already been mentioned. Two that haven’t yet: Liam Neeson Jodie Foster Not untalented actors, but their anti 2A politics yet firearm featuring movies are on my automatic No list.

There aren't a lot of movies that I refuse to watch simply because an actor/actress is in it. Maybe a few: Jamie Fox Rosie O'Fat Anything the creator of Family Guy does. Whoopie Goldberg Probably some others and mostly politically based. Any BLM or movies simply made for black folk. Like anything by Tyler Perry, or other movies where they are made to show how bad the black folks have it. They weren't made for me and I am fine with that and won't watch. Call me a racist - I don't care. Some of the ones mentioned earlier do make me shake my head and wonder WTF kind of entertainment taste do you have and what bizarre shit do you watch? Sometimes you have to tolerate some of the bad with the good. Samuel L Jackson - can't stand his political views at all but he has been in some good movies. Denzel - don't know why anyone would dis him, whatever?

They pretty much all suck. So my list is only one actor who I think SUCKS and also is a leader in the anti-everything I like: Jim Carrey
