He called Biden "Plugs," which always cracked me up.

When John Edwards ran for President, Rush called him "the Breck Girl."

Then there was the Clinton Library and Massage Parlor.

And one of my favorites: long-haired, dope-smoking, maggot-infested, good time rock 'n roll plastic banana FM-types.

Who can forget "low information voters" particularly after this last election. I will miss his sly wit, playing "My boy lollipop" every time the subject of Barney Frank came up or "Ain't got no home" by Clarence "Frogman" Henry, when he'd do a homeless update. In recent years, I have missed the Paul Shanklin parodies like "In a Yugo". Rush knew his rock and roll too. Guess that came from his disc jockey days. I contend to this day, that of his many critics, few if any had ever actually listened to him.

I could swear Rush referred to Sacramento as Sacra-pimento a few times but I can't find any references confirming it.

As an aside I started listening to him when he was on KFBK in Sacramento. First heard about him from some fellow employees at Mare Island Naval Shipyard back in 1984 or 85. Followed him ever since. Big Grin
