One of very few movies where I prefer the teenager over the original. Love the score in the remake as well.

Except the stable/horse owner guy shoulda been Strother Martin. He was in the original. Nobody can top him for that part.

I have both of them and the first movie was really good for the time but I much prefer the remake.

I haven’t watched either version in a long time, but I like Barry Pepper; I can’t think of a movie that he wasn’t good in.

I love both, but like the remake better. Watched it again the other night with my wife and thoroughly loved it.
