If you like Italian food, Italy, and "The Tooch"...this is the show for you.

Yes, it's CNN sponsored but it's a great show with 6 episodes that really immerse you in the foods and landscapes of the regions.

I have always liked him as an actor and he inserts only minor items that lean liberal.

He has another season planned from what I hear...

Enjoy!!

Really enjoy watching him.
He'll always be «Morty» to me, as per his <Muerte> tough guy character in Undercover Blues.

Check this out...the Tooch getting his start in an old Levi's commercial. Notice anyone else?...maybe a rising star QB?

he is a great actor. Great range. From the game show host with fake teeth in the Hunger Games saga to the gay fashion designer in The Devil Wears Prada to the assassin with Stallone.

Solid show and excellent photography, to include his occasional swear words he'll drop Wink . Very pleased to see locations like Bologna shown, very underrated location on the tourism itinerary. The episode in Florence with his parents was also enjoyable. Too bad season 2 won't be available until next year.

The show has its lefty moments and Tucci has a few comments that will make you roll your eyes (this shouldn't be any kind of surprise or shock) however, if you focus on the location and the food, you'll be entertained.

If you've not seen his movie Big Night, highly recomended.

Thank you for the suggestion. I've been meaning to watch this series. I loved Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown. So I'll likely enjoy this very much as well (there's no replacing Anthony, though).

I still remember when he played Khamel, the assassin, in The Pelican Brief. It was a very small part, but memorable for me. I remember reading the novels while on deployment, then seeing the movie.

Although he has managed to nuance some liberalism in searching for Italy, the show is rather good.
I’m hungry after each episode & miss Italian wines more...
