Obviously, The Beatles were the first- I knew John, Paul, George, and Ringo when I was 5 years old. Other than them, and not counting the Monkees, boy bands The Jackson 5 and The Osmonds. But they hardly count as well. The first real rock band with all recognizable members was Led Zeppelin back when they came out with Houses of the Holy. And also Yes. Yes, 1978 when I was 15. Benjamin Orr, Ric Ocasek, Elliot Easton, Greg Hawkes, David Robinson, and that's from memory. Their first and second albums are still my all time favorites. | |||
