How on earth is every other Muppet Movie available on Disney+ even the crap ones but the greatest Muppet Movie of all time, The Muppets Take Manhattan, is not on there?

Aside from that we are enjoying it.
Wish we weren’t enjoying it as much as we are but with current circumstances kind of hard.

Existing network agreement that hasn't expired?

I seem to recall that was part of why some titles took longer to make it onto D+?

Oh, that's interesting. As per Wikipedia:

Unlike Henson's previous films, The Muppets Take Manhattan was originally released by TriStar Pictures and not produced by ITC Entertainment; mainly because ITC was suffering from extreme financial difficulties at the time. Therefore, unlike the previous films, the distribution rights to The Muppets Take Manhattan did revert to The Jim Henson Company in 1998, but did not revert to The Walt Disney Company in 2004. Due to this, it is one of three Muppet films (along with Muppets from Space and the direct-to-video feature Kermit's Swamp Years) whose home video distribution rights are still controlled by Sony Pictures, and not the Walt Disney Studios (The film rights are co-owned by TriStar Pictures and The Jim Henson Company).

I sure am striking out with this Disney+ on finding what I am looking for.

Rocketman (not to be confused with The Rocketeer) likely one of Disney’s best slapstick/silly nonsense movie.

It’s not on there. Though just scrolling randomly lastnight came across the Newsies. Seeing it as a kid I had no idea it had such a stellar cast. Loved the movie was just to young to really pay attention to who was playing the roles.

How about Condorman with Michael Crawford and Barbara Carrera? Is that one on there? I've been wanting to watch that one again. I haven't seen that since the theater back in '81.

Muppet Christmas Carol is decent but nothing compared to when they take Manhattan. Plus if you are going for watch a rendition of a Christmas Carol the best is Mickey’s which is on Disney+ thankfully.

The best Muppet movie is still the original.

I love the all-star cast on The Muppet Movie; Milton Berle, Bob Hope, Mel Brooks, Richard Pryor, Steve Martin, James Coburn, Charles Durning, the original muppeteers...
