Gomer Pyle question....

Gomer Pyle question....
Early on Sgt. Carter was trying to make Gomer hate him. Carter had Pyle dig a hole, and after complete made him fill the hole and 'move' it.

Anyone remember this epp or have a video link?

I remember Sgt. Carter, on a survival exercise, digging a hole to look for water, and Gomer finding water easily.

Season 1, Episode 7 is "Nobody Loves a Sergeant". The story is that Gomer just can't help liking Sergeant Carter, no matter how much the sergeant tries to get the recruit to hate him. But, there nothing in the episode about digging a hole.

Several instances in that episode where Gomer's rural NC skills and knowledge were superior to Carter's survival manual.
