Old school DJ Ashba, back in the 90s when he’d sell tapes out of his trunk. He was married to my buddies aunt, his dad a Hell’s Angel hang around. I remember DJ being there to clean out my buddies dad’s house after he committed suicide and just realizing he was such a nice regular guy. I guess he was also a badass guitarist who went on to play with Guns N Roses and later produce Motley Crue. Even thought Beautiful Creatures had an amazing first album. He also did awesome with Nikki Sixx on Sixx A:M. But overall I still think his early instrumental days are just so damn badass! Especially if you listen to the whole album, all guitar singing to you, no vocals.
