Found it on Netflix and watched it last night, about S.Korean patrol boat that got attacked by the Norks in 2002. Known as the Second Battle of Yeonpyeong, the movie looks like it got a lot of support from the ROK Navy. Using the same patrol boats, nailing uniforms and locations. Story is pretty basic, actual footage was used in the end and that certainly tugs on the heart strings. To American eyes, it appears to be a S.Korean movie makers 'idea' of what the military is like; some things seemed goofy/silly, others perhaps lost in translation and some things was a bit drawn-out. Anyways, an interesting flick and if you dig a bit deeper into the battle, that area is one massive hot-spot should things get kinetic over there. | ||
