For younger folks than me, he was part of the cast on "T.J. Hooker" in the 1980's. I tuned in to the show for Heather Locklear though. Pretty active career in TV and movies during the 1960s, and a few pop hits. 88. Watched one of his movies on Friday night. https://www.msn.com/en-us/movi...cfbc9a9c855295&ei=14

I still occasionally watch his show, The Time Tunnel on MeTV. "I’m not going to read Time Magazine, I’m not going to read Newsweek, I’m not going to read any of these magazines; I mean, because they have too much to lose by printing the truth"- Bob Dylan, 1965

Took me a minute to place him, I had him confused with James Stacy. He had a good run, like para said 88 doesn’t seem possible. _______________________________________________________ despite them

Yes, I remember "The Time Tunnel" too, haven't seen it in ages though. And a toast to him; another article mentioned that he was still married to his first wife at the time of passing. Sixty-four years. Pretty good run there also.

First came across him as "Vic Fontaine" on DS9; we loved those episodes! He played a great smooth 60's Vegas nightclub singer in them; some of the best episodes of the whole series! Afterwards, we found a CD he made with songs he did on the series; a real nice collection called "This one's from the heart"; worth getting and listening to; he really knew how to sing those tunes!

Obviously my advanced age, but this is what I first remember him from. Certifiable member of the gun toting, septuagenarian, bucket list workin', crazed retiree, bald is beautiful club! USN (RET), COTEP #192

^^^^^ Another, "Me too". I remember his music, don't remember a thing about his acting. _____________________________ "The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living." That was my thought exactly. I try to avoid looking at calendars these days. _________________________ “Remember, remember the fifth of November!"

My first, too, though I remember him from the holodeck episodes too. I don’t know if I ever knew that was him in TGoN. Rest in peace, Mr. Darren. *** "Aut viam inveniam aut faciam (I will either find a way or make one)." -- Hannibal Barca
