Why don’t you fix your little problem and light this candle |
I found this play through of the original album. Pretty cool. Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here (Side 1) (1975 HQ Vinyl LP) - Technics 1200G / Audio Technica ART9 This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we'll be lucky to live through it. -Rear Admiral (Lower Half) Joshua Painter Played by Senator Fred Thompson

Thanks for that. I listened to both sides, which means it's the first time I've listened to a Pink Floyd album. Still my favorite Floyd record. Shine On is a masterpiece and Have a Cigar is such a rocker. I'm gonna vote for the funniest frog with the loudest croak on the highest log.

Great album, and the best turntable there is! I used to play On the Run to thousands. Used to use it to open my set. Those fucking guys were innovators! What am I doing? I'm talking to an empty telephone

Like that cartoon, I remember being blown away by Dark Side of the Moon. It is still what I consider to be my favorite album, even though I own almost 2000 between vinyl and CD. There is just something about the music and lyrics that reaches me. As a matter of fact, my younger brother was going through a rough patch and my parents sent him out to me. One night we are talking about life, and I said "Listen to this," and handed him the lyrics as I played DSOTM. He cried, and gave me a big hug. I'll never forget that moment, and maybe it's why I consider it my favorite. He was a big disco and R&B listener, never really listened to rock, but that album touched him too. Tony
