I just found this out today, Brent Douglas, radio star with Phil Stone on the Tulsa rock station KMOD from 1985 to 2012 died. It was some great entertainment and I tried to always catch their show. Roy D. Mercer was voiced by Brent and it was some funny shit.

One of his best.

Thanks for all the laughs, Mr. Douglas.

Those are some of my favorite prank phone calls. I remember passing around a Roy D Mercer cassette tape in high school, every track on there would have you in tears.

I don't like practical jokes...at all. But, this guy was so damned funny! Many years ago, I was on a long road trip and picked up a cassette of his at some truck stop in the middle of the night for something to listen to. I had to pull off the road I was laughing so hard.

Hopefully Sharon Jean takes the loss well. Wink
