Those are really good. I have Both Blue Planet's on blue ray.
Another great one for the kiddos is on Prime and is called "The World Wars".
It's kind of a docu drama series about WW1 and follows the main players into WW2. Pretty broad brush but they hit the main events pretty well and will keep younger viewers' attention.

Just watched the "Fog of War" McNamara one per Para's recommendation.
I think it's especially meaningful if you are of the age that live through that era and remember the progress of the conflict.
The telling of the history before it actually started for us, from the US perspective, is really important to understand what happened.
