We all know there were many deaths of well known musicians this year. The list is long and includes John Prine, Eddie Van Halen, Neil Peart, Kenny Rogers, Charlie Daniels, Helen Reddy, recently Tony Rice, and many more. I didn’t realize HOW many more until I saw this list.

Nice to see the pic of classic Kenny Rogers and not the plastic surgery nightmare that he became.

Phyllis McGuire died Tuesday in Vegas. She was 89. Years ago I saw a made-for-tv movie about her affair with Sam (Momo) Giancana. The sister act performed at the Cal-Neva Lodge at Lake Tahoe. Frank Sinatra was the frontman and Momo snuck into one of the cabins to tryst with Phyllis. There are tunnels under the property. Before it closed, the circular bar had pictures of famous performers lining the walls. Larry Ellison owns the Cal-Neva property now. This song was featured in "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel"

Neil Peart’s death was brutally said... I attended more than 50 Rush concerts and he never disappointed.

Anybody else notice the majority (if not, all) of those born in or after 1990 (30 years old or younger) were rap "stars"?

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

It was 2020, and based on the reported causes of death that I googled for a consecutive batch of names on that list during the month of April, that apparently is all that needs to be said.

I frankly became too depressed to scroll into the May deaths. 2020 truly sucked.

We all have our favorites but Charlie Daniels, Eddie Van Halen and Weslie West bummed me out.
