What a great multitude of sound. Some of the enunciation and pronunciation are weird at times though it is likely because they are foreign but who knows.
Really digging this stuff.

Really centered around the vocalist/songwriter, Tobias Forge, the rest of the band has cycled through a few members.

I'm listening but keep hoping it gets heavier. If the music hit harder like KSE that would be a great sound to go with the vocals.

Not bad though.

They are indeed foreign, and SigJacket is correct, concerning the vocalist being the driving force. I am a big fan of this portion of their discography:
Infestissumam LP 2013
Meliora LP 2015
Popestar EP 2016
Their first album is also good, but they hadn't quite hit their stride yet, IMO. I couldn't get into anything after Popestar, and haven't even sampled their newest. Nickelsig229, if it "hit harder", it wouldn't be Ghost. They are quite unique, and to change anything would only detract from their signature sound.
Lyrical themes are quite blasphemous, to the point of "Hail satan" (Year Zero). I have been wanting to listen to them lately, but haven't been able to due to a unique set of hurdles: I have the albums I listed on vinyl; I don't like to listen to things digitally that I have on vinyl; I won't listen to satanic stuff passively so long as my daughter is in earshot. All that being said, I'd have to arrange time to plug headphones into the system, and just sit and listen, which is hard.

There are a lot of great songs on those albums that aren't/weren't singles, so listening to them in their entirity is recommended. Popestar is a uniquely badass EP; it has some very cool covers, along with the Square Hammer original. I Believe, Missionary Man, and Bible are very cool songs.

Yep, Ghost is an overtly Satanic-themed band, with Satan and Satanism being the main focus of the majority of their lyrics. And not in the "rock and roll music is the devil" or "we're just doing this for publicity" way... The lead singer, Tobias Forge, is a outspoken Satanist/Luciferian. (The actual Devil-worshipping type, not the snarky agnostic stick-it-to-the-system type like the Church of Satan who doesn't actually believe in a literal Satan.)

Like the sound.

I’ve not heard them before. I was really expecting heavy music considering their spooky styling and satanic claims.

Ghost's sound is more traditional/old-school "heavy metal", like the 1970s sense of the genre (Black Sabbath, Led Zepplin, Deep Purple, et al).

Compared to most heavy metal these days, it's not all that "heavy".

It’s kinda neat. Just a little unexpected.

I know what you mean.
Call Me Little Sunshine especially I was just waiting for the bottom to drop out and the song just hit.
But it never did and doesn’t in any of the songs I have found.
But I am really liking it.

What is KSE?
