| Ignored facts still exist |
I can think of a ton of TV shows that spawned a movie or movies: Star Trek, Charlies Angels, Dukes of Hazzard, Chips, Batman, Lost in Space, and many more. But there aren't many Movies which launched a TV series where the plot continues from the movie. I can only think of a few: -M*A*S*H, -The Terminator had that weak Sara Conners TV show about 10 years ago, -There was Fargo's TV series. But the list ends there for some reason. Are there others? . | ||

There actually were quite a few, but they mostly all bad and/or forgettable. Ferris Buehler's Day Off Bates Motel Stargate Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Yhese 2 were wildly successful, going 10+ seasons each and producing spin-off series). Not to mention the cartoons: Beetlejuice (counts because it was based on live action) Emperors new groove Lion King Fear God and Dread Nought Admiral of the Fleet Sir Jacky Fisher | |||

The Rambo character was in an animated series called Rambo: The Force of Freedom. The Robocop character was in two animated and one live-action series. Not really fitting into a neat category, but Chuck Norris was in an animated series called Karate Kommandos, playing himself. | |||
