I guess I should have titled the thread Better Call Saul fans. If you don't like it don't freakin' watch it. I like the show, the characters, and the way it's written. Completely different that most of the crap on TV these days. _______________________ “There is more stupidity than hydrogen in the universe, and it has a longer shelf life.” ― Frank Zappa

I think Kim will end up going to jail somehow or something along those lines. "Pickin' stones and pullin' teats is a hard way to make a living. Kim is gonna end up back in Kansas or whatever state she is from. When Jimmy eventually gets outed at cinnabon and is eventually arrested. He is going to ask for a lawyer. She walks into the room. Fade to Black. ____________________________ 220/229/228/226/P6/225/XO/SP2022/239

You can start seeing a split or at least tension between Kim and Jimmy. The last 2 episodes are a lot faster than earlier ones. The season started off slow and is generally just slower altogether than Breaking Bad.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Yeah. So do I. The duality and unpredictablility of the characters is realistic. The pacing of the show and plot is fine with me. I think too many people focus on the plot and storyline. Character development is much more interesting to me.

Some of the most interesting characters in a TV series we've seen in a long time. Must see TV for me. Men fight for liberty and win it with hard knocks. Their children, brought up easy, let it slip away again, poor fools. And their grandchildren are once more slaves. -D.H. Lawrence

What he did to that kid who was trying to win a scholarship and had a history of shoplifting reveals what a POS Jimmy has become. I think Kim will finally decide to move on at some point since she cares for people.

Jimmy is fucking jerk. He's always been pretty decent to Kim so I think she kind of went with it. When they were all smiles after that bar assessment or appeal or whatever that was and he starting gloating about how he made that one asshole cry her face just dropped. Oh well, 'sall good man. _______________________ “There is more stupidity than hydrogen in the universe, and it has a longer shelf life.” ― Frank Zappa

Well put. I'm looking forward to next season when Kim walks out on the asshole. I don't think she really knew what a creep he was until she realized those morons who believed his line of BS included herself. Jimmy has always been his worst enemy and I think he really outdid himself this time. "I'm not fluent in the language of violence, but I know enough to get around in places where it's spoken."

I'm starting to feel like Lucy and the football. Jimmy's a fool and a dick, no wait, he has a heart of gold and is sharp as a tack, no...utter dick. Thanks to Breaking Bad, this show is interesting but less and less fun with so many unlikable characters. Set the controls for the heart of the Sun.

Kim gets off on the rush of scamming. She is also a monster. Every last character in the series has serious flaws. It's what it's about. Even Mike's former boss let his murder he committed slide. ____________________________ Eeewwww, don't touch it! Here, poke at it with this stick.

Ever notice Jimmy's uncanny ability to remember names. He actually has some talents but has become a self serving a-hole. Maybe living in Chuck's shadow did him in. What he's developed into is right in line with his character in BB. Men fight for liberty and win it with hard knocks. Their children, brought up easy, let it slip away again, poor fools. And their grandchildren are once more slaves. -D.H. Lawrence

Caring for Chuck was his last thread of decency, his brother's death released him from those bonds. Jimmy is a created monster, he wasn't born that way. Jimmy DOES see the world as right and wrong, he just sets out to right the wrongs in his own way, just as Kim does. Kim is just as much of a monster as Jimmie is, she just has different tactics. She requires motivation, where Jimmie has a lifetime of it. ____________________________ Eeewwww, don't touch it! Here, poke at it with this stick.

You can see some of the beginnings of his grifting style in the scene where he rips off his father at about 8 years of age in the store his Dad owned. He just learned all the wrong things. He really does not care about people and is pretty much devoid of a conscience.

Oh I don’t know. The fact that they could deny him a career based on how sincere they “felt” he was? He’s just fighting hipocracy with hipocracy.

I love the show, yes it’s slower than BB but it’s supposed to be. Seeing Jimmy start sliding down the hole to what will make him “Saul Goodman” is great. And seeing Mike, in another way, do the same this is also interesting to see. And if you are a BB fan, you know Jimmy / Saul is a jerk, motivated by the act of screwing people he dislikes, more so than by the money it gets him.
