We have had a number of music posts recently in regard to genre or era here recently how about we try one by topic or theme.
How about some revolution or non-compliance music from any genre or era.

I’ll start it with Christafari. I listened to these folks way back at their inception in the late 80s and early 90s. Had not thought of them in at least 25 years turns out they have been turning out music the whole time.
Have to say that I really like one of their newest.

Hi Rez while likely not a lot of folks cup of tea here but hopefully a lot of young folks will listen and wake up.

And while not ever been aligned with their message I do enjoy their music though kind of ironic that Rage Against The Machine has always been against government and the typical institutions man did they go full blown woke for the vaccine.

Somewhat old school:
The Battle Cry of Freedom.
Battle Hymn of the Republic (Civil war lyrics version)
And translated into English:
La Marseillaise.

End of Earth: 2 Miles
Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles

Les Miserables - Do You Hear the People Sing?

The Clancy Brothers - The Rising of the Moon

Here is another good one. It's lyrics deal more with the burden of just being alive rather than a singular authoritative being, but would definitely be on my revolution playlist to remind me that there is light at the end of the darkness.

Rage Against the Machine used to be my favorite band. They have always been left of center of course but now they are total leftist, big government assholes. I was supposed to go see them play a couple years ago and threw my ticket in the trash.

It started before the vaccine. They had a pro-gun control post on their FB page and got shredded for it in the comments. They took it down.
